School is over

School is over. I’m not sure what else to say other than these 3 words - kind of mind-blowing, really. For the past 11 years, its been this constant in my life - every week I spend 5/6 days at school, have specific tasks to complete. Schedules, hobbies, friendships, all had to be built around this idea - that at 9am I go to a specific building, and leave after 7-ish classes.

And now that’s gone. I knew it was gonna be over this year, but it only dawned on me as we finished the last week and there was nothing in the calendar except 3 final exams. Sure, there is university (hopefully ;-;), which is similar. But it’s not *the same*. There are less strings attached, and you can begin looking for a job, and- am I almost an adult? That’s an equally exciting and terrifying thought.

We’ll see how this goes. Right now the most important thing is to do well in aforementioned exam and secure a free place at a university. Then I’ll think about the future, and maybe write a proper retrospective. Just because I’m done with school, doesn’t mean I’m done with the deadline-centric approach it fosters. Gotta get those 75 points in informatics… ( ._.)

Over and out, for a bit.
