About me
For an up-to-date-ish status of what I’m up to, check my now page
Hey! I’m Andrey. I am a student from Moscow, Russian Federation. My biggest hobbies are currently (cliché, sorry) programming-related things, video games, and as of lately books. There are a few smaller ones like photography and playing on guitar… but mostly computers and games. I also fence on épées, I guess! :D
I began coding in school and has been doing so ever since. I know Python, Go, C++, JS, Java (due to modding Minecraft), Lua (due to playing Minecraft) and some bits and pieces of other languages. Go is definitely the favourite right now. Some of my code can be found on my Forgejo instance and GitHub. I run my own servers for various tasks because I believe it’s very cool.
My online usernames are usually Andrew-71 or similar, so calling me Andrew or Drew (You know who you are) is fine (and often encouraged).
Contact
If you want to ask something, my public-facing e-mail is contact(at)a71[dot]su
. I check it occasionally, and will reply if I can. Fun fact: I used to just show this address in the footer, but auto-scrapping spambots got me o_O
.
About this website
This is my personal website. Here I write about whatever and (intend to ;-;
) publish useful information. I always wanted my very own place on the internet, and this is as independent as it gets. Can’t guarantee 99.999% uptime, but can add stars to a page’s background. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s currently powered by Hugo, and before that was a small Go app (and even earlier a JS one… it existed in some form since 2022!). It may look a bit basic, but I like it that way. Makes the site compatible with phones and accessible too!
