Day 3
A friend who’s a linguist seemed to suggest it might be prudent to learn easy/crucial grammar and words, then more complicated ones, and so on. Though I suppose that’s what I’ll be doing in September, I am considering supplementing current A1 wordlist with hand-made “words that are important” lists and beginning grammar early.
No formal practise today. Uh-oh, let’s not set a precedent.
Words learned indirectly (aka from Minecraft):
- Das Glück - luck
- Die Tür - door
- Das Ziel - destination/goal/aim … and achievement in Minecraft?
- viel - a great deal of? is “viel Glück” “good luck”?
- Der Tisch - table/desk
- Der Zauber - magic/spell
- Die Stufe - step/stair/terrace/stage/degree and slab in Minecraft
- Das Holz - wood
- Die Eiche - oak
- Das Eichenholz - oak wood (hrmmm, where is this from)
